Thanks for stopping by!
I’m Marnie, a freelance writer, journalist and copywriter here in sunny, windy, rainy, hailing Melbourne. Coming out of university – where I obtained a B.A, majoring in Media and Communications and minoring in International Studies, and a B.Bus, majoring in Marketing – all I knew is that I wanted to write. So, I did just that.
I was quickly hired as a copywriter for the digital marketing agency, 3 Phase Marketing, where I got to work with clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Waterman Business Centres and Dr. Snip (just to name a quick few).
On top of this, I also have been a freelance writer for over five years, where I’ve acquired bylines in reputable publications such as The Guardian, ABC News, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, SBS News, Women’s Agenda, Eureka Street, Mumbrella, various Junkee titles, Pedestrian, Whimn, B&T Magazine and Inside Small Business.
I’m also a regular contributor to Concrete Playground and am on the wellness writing team for Healthline. I’ve also been guests on ABC Drive with Richard Glover, RN Drive with Patricia Karvelas, ABC Darwin with Liz Trevaskis and 3AW Mornings with Neil Michell.
